Position Title: Project Manager, Productivity
Location: South Deerfield, MA
Department: Supply Chain, Home Fragrance
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Global Productivity #LI-BB1
The Project Manager, Productivity will be a key member of the Supply Chain productivity team delivering year over year cost reduction through world-class project execution. The main responsibility is to lead a global cross-functional team in order to ideate, charter and launch productivity projects across the 3 main pillars of VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineered), Manufacturing and Distribution & Transportation. Additionally, the PM will aid in the both the accuracy and analysis of project planning and report out progress to the executive leadership team.
Independently lead productivity projects that range incomplexity throughout the Home Fragrance BU
Identifies, develops and leads ideation sessions &product teardown events in order to capture productivity ideas
Responsible for delivering key KPI’s of project timingand savings
Partner with Packaging Engineering, Procurement, SupplyChain Finance, Brand Marketing & Research, Manufacturing, Engineeringand Development teams to develop and execute key projects
Leads cross-functional teams in pursuit of creativesolutions to business-critical challenges/roadblocks.
Supports cross-functional teams to work seamlesslyacross boundaries of company, culture, and geography for successfulproject execution
Hold regular reviews with managers to ensure programand project plans are aligned with the project funnel
Leads project network sessions to collaborativelydevelop standardized timelines for projects.
Manage project scope alignment, adherence and changesto ensure successful project delivery.
Strong financial analysis to support fact-basedbusiness decisions and opportunities for capital investment
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within theproject team and escalate issues as needed.
Interact effectively with Global teams and centralresourcing.
Participate in post launch audit output evaluations torecommend advancements for continuous improvement of project executionpractices.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, finance,business, supply chain, or related field
5+ years of experience in project management, 2+ yearsin a direct/indirect management or leadership role.
Experience leading projects and programs with highcomplexity and high levels of capital spend.
Proven ability to facilitate relations between businessgroups and technology departments at a global level.
Demonstrated familiarity with structured projectmanagement methodologies.
Demonstrated familiarity with basic manufacturingprocesses and production planning.
Experience in developing and deploying project bestpractices, policies, procedures, and processes.
Proficient in project management tools such asMicrosoft Project as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Possesses influencing skills (leads by example, clearlyarticulates business cases and interpretation of cause-effect impact).
Highly effective organization and planning skillsrequired.
Ability to effectively communicate up, down and acrossthe organization.
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentationskills are required.
