About This Role

Textron Systems is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be fluent in Mixed Signal electronics design, switching power supply design, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs. The individual should be skilled in using Allegro (ORCAD) Capture, PSPICE and other simulation products. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in Mixed Signal electronics design

  • Switching Power Supply design expertise

  • Experience with designing High density printed circuit boards.

  • Experience designing initiation systems for ordnance

  • Comfortable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICE

  • Skilled in WCCA, Monte Carlo analysis and GOAL functions

  • Capable of basic modification of component models.

  • Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICE

  • Familiar with full range of lab instrumentation and testing

  • Requisition components and support PWA assembly

  • Support protype builds, testing and debug

  • NH&S design experience would be a plus

Education Requirements: BS degree in electrical engineering, MSEE a plus.
