Job Location: Wilmington, MA
Responsible for performing the integration and/or test of all components, ensuring electrical and physical compatibility to meet program technical, schedule and cost objectives. In support of system design activities, responsible for test and/or integration of EO/IR space systems from the system design phase through development, documentation, installation and commissioning of the completed system. Integration responsibilities may include design, develop and implement integration plans for procedures for hardware, software, and facilities. Responsible for the physical and electrical compatibility of functional interfaces and first article product integration, ensuring seamless interface between the design and production of systems. Testing responsibilities may include analyzes requirements for testability issues. Develops and implements both hardware and software system level test programs, plans, specifications, procedures and customer acceptance. Plans and leads test working groups, test readiness reviews. Conducts testability and producibility analyses and reviews.
Establish and maintain consistency among customer request for proposal, performance, interface and test requirements to test plan, procedures, execution and data reduction for EO/IR Payloads and elements therein..
Liaison with program Systems, Optics, Thermal, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Software Engineering for ;
Apply orthogonal leadership skills to enable/facilitate/iterate with program Lead System Engineer to ensure proper and thorough test design and implementation to meet or exceed expectations.
Establish positive environment of encouragement and mentoring to team members.
Cradle to grave facilitation; initial development through final requirements sell-off;
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent.
Demonstrated hands-on, intimate experience with satellite hardware, and/or equipment design, development, manufacturing, integration, test and/or operations of simlar technically sophisticated and complex products.

Direct experience interfacing with customer personnel and leadership
Demonstrated ability and desire to learn from self-training as well as via transfer of experience and technique
Demonstrated humble, leadership in small, diverse team, fast paced environment
Strong communication ability: verbal and written using MS Word and PowerPoint
Experience communicating and presenting complex technical issues to various audiences (technical counterparts, program management, customer leadership, etc.)
Strong ability to develop and manipulate MS Excel
Proficient use of LabView and/or MATLAB for analysis and scripting
Understanding of MIL-STD-1540 Test Requirements
Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering Masters of Science Degree
Ability to obtain or current TS/SCI clearance
