One global team creating trusted, innovative solutions to make the world a safer place… The Director of the Command and Control (C2) Systems business provides Product Area leadership to successfully grow and execute a diverse C2 portfolio valued in the multi-billion dollar range in the 5 year plan. The C2 business is a large scale command and control and mission systems integration business. The focus is on C2 for Air, land, joint and tactical command and control systems for national sovereignty protection, battle space awareness, mission planning and execution. Programs are in the US, Europe, Asia, and across the MENA region and are primarily direct commercial sale (DCS) with some foreign military sales (FMS). Given the number of customers in various countries, the variability of the program type and size, the portfolio is extremely complex. The Director is responsible for strategic vision, product line development, program execution and delivery, top line business growth, new product development, maintenance and expansion of customer relations dealing with the deployment of large scale software intensive national and multi-national systems. The C2 Director reports to the Vice President, Mission Systems & Sensors (MSS), and is part of the MSS Leadership Team. The individual must use Program Management/Capture best practices to demonstrate high levels of program execution and capture acumen to increase competitiveness, grow the business, and maintain high standards of program execution. The position will be located in Woburn, MA leading programs and teams in several locations including Fullerton, CA, Ft. Wayne, IN, and Fulton, MD. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Develop strategies for capture opportunities that synthesizes information regarding the customer, competitors and Raytheon’s strengths and weaknesses Competitive capture both domestically and internationally to include win strategy development, capturing and proposal planning developing, and proven experience executing a capture to plan Create a sound business case and value proposition based on customer requirements. Translate the strategy into a comprehensive capture plan and proposal development plan including win themes and discriminators, leveraging additional RTN international experience. Communicate the vision of success that inspires and energizes the C2 team. In a fully matrixed environment, build an organizational structure by integrating IDS Business Areas and Functional Team representatives into a smoothly operating and cohesive team. Support an environment where accountability and successful program execution are core Gain and maintain stakeholder (senior management, partners, and teammates) buy-in and support, and commitment of right resources to win and execute programs. REQUIRED SKILLS: Minimum 14 years of professional related experience Experience in capture/program management and P&L responsibility for large, complex portfolios Experience competitively winning new business as a capture manager on programs of increasing value Domestic and international capture experience Experience leading large and complex cross functional and geographically diverse teams U.S. Citizenship is required Current Secret Clearance Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Math or applicable field is required . DESIRED SKILLS : International Program Management experience with highly complex systems in a demanding customer environment, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East In-depth knowledge of IDS and Raytheon business to include programs and capture/proposal IPDS process Experience dealing with alternative business environments, e.g., Joint Ventures, strategic partnerships, Teaming agreements Capture Management Excellence (CMX) certification Multi-Site Operations Management Air/Land/Joint Operational Domain Knowledge Tier 2 PM Certification or ability to achieve within 1 year Strong communication skills to include downward, upward, and outward communication ability to evaluate risks and opportunities to be able to quickly develop mitigation and/or capture plans Master's Degree in applicable field is desirable. 111681
