This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategic Sensor Systems (S3) Program team of the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) Business Area as the KSA THAAD Financial Control Lead.
The KSA THAAD program is a $3B Foreign Military Sale to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
Under this contract, Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is funded for engineering development (obsolescence mitigation & reliability upgrades), production (manufacture & delivery of 7 AN/TPY-2 radars & spares), and post-delivery sustainment support (CLS, Technical Services, R&R).
As a critical member of the KSA THAAD finance team, the Financial Control Lead will be responsible for all aspects of financial management on the program and will provide leadership to a team of 5-6 financial analysts and the greater program controls team.
This position will report directly to the KSA THAAD Business Manager and requires significant partnership with Program Management, Functional Leads, and the entire Program Controls team to ensure flawless program execution.
The KSA THAAD program is an exciting opportunity to gain startup and execution experience on a major development and production program.
Primary responsibilities include:
Oversee the establishment and maintenance of the program baseline that is compliant with the program directive, internal EVM policy and RTX EVMS Process Description 10255
Analyze cost & schedule performance and work w/ IPT & CPT leads to develop & execute action plans to positively impact program metrics
Present program financials at Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, Initial Baseline Reviews and other reviews as required
Coordinate development of quarterly Estimates at Complete
Oversee the staffing demand process to ensure accuracy in the demand signal & work with the functional leads to identify gaps and plans to closure
Support to proposals & negotiations and the associated gate reviews
Coordinate w/ the S3 FP&A team to develop & status the AOP, 5YP, and monthly forecasts/outlooks (to include investment planning)
Support to all customer engagements & requests for information
8+ Years relevant working experience
Experience with Earned Value Management System (E VMS), Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or Estimate at Completion (EAC) Process
The position requires access to US only data systems.
US Citizenship is a requirement.
Earned Value Certification
EVMS audit/surveillance experience
SAP APEX EV Experience
SAP accounting system & Analysis for Office reports experience
Proficient with Microsoft suite of tools (EXCEL, Power Point, Word)
Must be independent and self-motivated
Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines
Proactive with demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve
Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced work environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study
8 years of applicable experience to this job description in Lieu of a BA/BS
