Systems & Technology Research Mid-Level Full Stack Developer in Woburn, Massachusetts
STR is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Web Developer to work with our system engineering teams in designing and building beautiful and usable data-centric websites. This role offers an opportunity to work from the very beginning of an idea all the way to deploying a final, production-ready web application.
The Role:
Work as part of a tightly knit team to develop, implement, and demonstrate web-based applications.
Design and implement web architectures.
Design and deploy databases.
Ensure entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability.
Design and creation of REST and graphQL APIs.
Integrate front-end UI with API’s.
Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code.
Work as a member of an Agile/Scrum software team.
Work across numerous programs and divisions within the company.
Understand the limitations of our tech stacks and business model and provide technical advice whenever necessary.
Requirements
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years’ experience with
JavaScript, CSS, CSS extension languages (LESS, Sass), CSS preprocessor tools, HTML5 and its best practices.
At least one back-end programming language (Python, Java, .Net, JavaScript) and be willing to learn more.
Database design and management, including latest practices and associated versions.
Server management and deployment for the relevant environment.
Proficiency with Git version control.
Proficiency using the command line.
Experience with at least one of: React, Flask, Django, Node, Vue.
Able to work independently.
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
Even Better:
Active Security Clearance.
Experience managing subcontractors.
Experience User Interactions and User Experience, or UI/UX research.
Experience with military systems analysis or survivability analysis.
