Ethos Veterinary Health Project Manager in Woburn, Massachusetts

Ethos Veterinary Health is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team in Woburn, Massachusetts.

This position is responsible to lead and organize strategic projects to improve business results across areas of the business. The includes pre-planning, project execution, implementation, and sustainment of results. This role requires a value-based approach to project management that focuses more on acting and creating valuable business results than on project management process and procedure.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns, leads, and drives the successful completion of projects that improve business results

  • Creates detailed work plans to identify and sequence activities needed to successfully complete assigned projects

  • Determines the objectives and measurements upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion, in collaboration with project leaders

  • Holds project team members accountable for getting their work done on time and ensures quality work and outcomes

  • Establishes a communication schedule to update stakeholders, including appropriate staff, on the progress of the project

  • Ensures that project deliverables are met, on time, within budget, and achieve the required level of quality (within scope)

  • Works to improve the organization?s overall effectiveness related to project, program, and portfolio management

  • Help drive change throughout the organization and ensures that results sustain in the long run

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities to be Successful:

  • Bachelor?s degree required along with 5+ years? experience as a project manager or similar role

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Teams, and Smartsheet

  • Certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma preferred

  • Ability to effectively negotiate scope, resources, and schedule changes with stakeholders

  • Knowledge of basic change management concepts

  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail

  • Favors quick action, results, and quality over adhering to project management rules and standard protocols

  • Experience implementing new technologies and improving business processes
