BCM consistently delivers optimal customer based integrated systems that control all aspects of building operations such as HVAC, Lighting, Video Surveillance, Access Control and Security.
Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking candidates for our Security Integration Technician position.General Responsibilities:Responsible for the start-up and commissioning process for Contracts projects as part of the project team.• Manage the commissioning process and field subcontractors within budget and on schedule.• Provide support for the PM in working on change requests and change orders.• Provide in house hand off of the project to service inclusive of training service personnel on site specific issues.
Project Installation: Supports the project manager with the supervision of the installation personnel:• Provide ongoing BCM representation on construction sites for the purposes of system installation, start-up commissioning and customer training.• Work with other project team members during the design phase of the project to provide feed back relative to site specific and customer issues. • Work with the project manager to coordinate the activities and needs of the installation team.• Attend on site construction coordination meetings as appropriate.• Provide site-specific input to the project team.• Supervise the installation contractor, ensuring quality standards and practices are being maintained and followed.• Develop and maintain an installation punch list prior to the close of the project.
Project Start-up: Acts as the BCM’s primary person on site during start-up and system commissioning.• Validate network functionality.• Provide programming support to bring the system on-line.• Certify the operation of the system with appropriate documentation.• Maintain and process the on site as-built documentation. • Respond to all ongoing construction service calls.• Assist/Guide other construction engineers as required.• Train customers on the operation and functionality of the system.
Customer Relations:• Maintain positive relationships with the customer and subcontractors.• Provide customer personnel with system training.
