The Systems Architecture Design and Integration Directorate (SADID) is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). The Operations Analysis and Simulation Department within SADID has a charter to conduct analyses and support programs across the IDS portfolio, including surface Navy, undersea Navy, missile defense sensors, interceptors, command and control, integrated air and missile defense systems and space surveillance systems. The work is classified and the candidate must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance. Job Description: The Senior Engineer will be responsible for delivering measurable mission effectiveness performance and cost benefit results for a range of complex and advanced technology warfighting architectures specifically (although not exclusively) focused on Raytheon systems. Will support international capture teams by creating credible Mission and Operational Analysis and Quick-Turn Analysis to provide keen insights into how Raytheon products meet customer needs. Must have knowledge of emerging threats, have understanding of the advanced capabilities needed to counter these threats, and comprehensive awareness of the shortfalls in deployed systems and CONOPs. Will work with business development staff to create and model advanced technology options to support new captures and other product line growth opportunities spanning the product lifecycle: design, development, production, sustainment/support, and obsolescence. Will be expected to build and sustain deep and lasting relationships with Customers based on credible analysis products. Will be expected to lead and develop teams to conduct analysis by creating plans, identifying tools, understanding the emerging threats, and executing to the analysis plan within the budget. This will require to harness subject matter experts from across all businesses and multiple mission areas to create integrated advanced capabilities and advanced technologies into mission gap filling solutions. Also, will mentor and groom lesser-experienced analysts on techniques for thinking through challenging problems, on standards that they must achieve to deliver credible results and how to tell a credible and convincing story. Will be required to present and travel internationally. Required Skills : 10+ years of technical experience in leading analysis teams to develop credible results and present them in a convincing manner that supports business development activities. Experience with Architecture principles (CONOPS, Systems, and Technologies); inserting Advanced Technologies into COCOM Architectures, and apply analysis to System of System assessments. Experience with ranging operations expertise to evaluate new concepts of operation and to develop new technology use cases. Strong System Knowledge in warfighting Domains, including at least one of the following: Air Defense, Ballistic Missile Defense, Ship Self-Defense, Air/Land/Sea/Joint C4I, Operations in a Cyber Contested Environment, Network Centric Operations, Air Traffic Management, Critical Infrastructure Protection Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or Mathematics.
