Seven Hills Foundation IT Project Manager in Worcester, Massachusetts
The Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for leading, planning, coordinating, and implementing corporate projects and designated department projects according to the identified specifications, deadlines, and budgets. The IT project manager drives the operationalization and execution of all assigned projects and follows the established project management methodology to define project charter and objectives, create schedules, and oversight throughout the entire project.
Salary: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00
IT Project Manager Responsibilities:
Advise, manage and execute IT projects and software implementations.
Partner with customers to understand their data and prioritize and develop short-term and long-term strategies to meet business needs.
Make recommendations for addressing identified deficiencies or improvements to business processes, including automation.
Conduct meetings and interviews with to gather and consolidate management requirements and feedback.
Collaborate with engineering, architects, and other technical leaders on the execution and delivery of project capabilities incorporating security and technical requirements.
Deliver detailed business requirements, technical requirements, and user stories.
Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project
Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
Assembling or recommending and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders on the adoption of emerging technologies to solve business challenges.
Collaborate and partner with clients to deliver world class IT solutions.
Create executive presentations and guide strategic discussions with client senior management.
Independently and proactively communicates issues, priorities, and objectives, while exercising good judgement and professionalism.
IT Project Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer or information Science-related field and minimum of 3 years related experience required.PMI Certification preferred
Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Experience with one or more Project Management methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Kanban etc.
Experience with one or more Project Management tools: MS Project, Monday.com etc.
Intermediate to Advanced Office Suite.
Experience with Snowflake preferred.
Possess excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills.
