Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting AF Solutions sales and customer service objectives.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical Support / ClinicalSupport

• Represents Medtronic AFS during ablationsprocedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance

• Receives technical inquiries by customers.Researches solutions to questions or problems (e.g., Catheter , Console ,Generator support)

• Educational Support

• Educates and trainsphysicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relatingto AFS products and related procedures

• One-on-one training sessions

• In-service education programs

• Seminars and/or outside symposiums

• Assists RM and field trainingdepartment in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers

• Provides training andresources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for theirpersonnel

• Sales Support

• Updates sales representativesconcerning procedure. Immediately notifies Account Manager regarding issues orproblems requiring follow-up

• Serves as effective MedtronicAFS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic AFSproducts, service and support

• Promotes the safe andeffective use of Medtronic AFS products and related procedures

• Understands national, regionaland territory sales objectives. Works in partnership with Account Manager toachieve exceed goals

MUST HAVE - BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASICQUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

• High School diploma PLUS a minimum 8 years of work experience inhealthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field

OR

• Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of work experience inhealthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field

OR

• Bachelor degree PLUS a minimum 4 years work experience in healthcarewithin an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field

NICE TO HAVE -DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing,cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of fouryears work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.

• Proven track record withtechnical training assignments.

• Experience in the cardiaccatheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical salesproviding technical / clinical support.

• Ability to travel more than75% of the time

• Must have a valid driver'slicense and active vehicle insurance policy.In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be consideredas part of your application

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Environmental exposure toinfectious disease and radiation

• Clinical Specialists arerequired to be within their assigned territory each day to be available asunscheduled needs arise

• Clinical Specialists will onoccasion be required to travel outside of their assigned territory andpossibility overnight

• Must have a valid driver’slicense

• Ability to freely move throughoutthe facility, use a phone, keyboard and mouse, visually able to interact withpersonal computers

• Must be able to stand/sit/walkfor 8 hours a day

• Must have a valid driver’slicense

• Ability to travel up to 75%
