David Clark Company VoIP Network Engineer in Worcester, Massachusetts

Summary; David Clark Company is looking for a qualified VoIP Network Engineer to be responsible for the design and implementation of IP based voice and video systems, including audio and video conferencing systems. The successful candidate will be part of a small group of developers that lead the creation of IP based mission critical communications solutions. Responsibilities: Responsible for designing and deploying VoIP services and solutions Installing VoIP and video system network hardware equipment Troubleshooting network issues Optimizing network designs Defining best practices for VoIP network, including voice, and video Designing and contributing to internal tools, scripts and dashboards that assist the team with its troubleshooting, and monitoring of the VoIP network infrastructure Producing and maintaining documentation Working with outside partners and developers Qualifications: Bachelors' degree in computer science or Electrical Engineering or related field 5 +years related professional experience with VoIP Networking and system design In-depth knowledge of VoIP systems and IP Protocols Knowledge of voice/video hardware systems including voice routers, gateways, session border controllers, and peripherals Familiarity with WAN and LAN systems Excellent troubleshooting skills Advanced written and verbal communication skills Experience implementing SIP protocol, RTP and RTCP Candidates should have a strong technical background demonstrating the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and in collaboration with partners and team. Comfortable acting as a technical lead, owning project delivery, designs and investigations Other Flexible work from home or office (Worcester, MA) option.
